Ratan Tata Passes Away: India Left in Grief – At a tragic time in the nation, the distinguished tycoon and generous humanitarian Ratan Tata has died leaving behind an impact that has molded the promotion of the Indian industry and the society in general. The guru of the Tata group was born on December 28, 1937, and he represented not only the personality of the company but also its peculiarities, namely, integrity, innovation, and focus on social success. His death brings the leadership era of the conglomerate he headed and the nation which expected leadership from him to an end.

Ratan Tata assumed the Tata Group command in 1991 when India was coming through large scale liberalization process.
