Theft from the decoration of Jai Stambh Chowk, LED tv and lights worth Rs 55 lakh Missing, Demand for Legal Action Against The Culprits
Raipur : A case of theft of LED TV and expensive lights has been reported from the beautification system made by the Municipal Corporation at Jai Pillar Chowk in the capital Raipur at a cost of Rs 55 lakh. A written complaint has been lodged in the police station in this regard.
According to the information received, Jai Pillar Chowk was decorated with four modern LED TVs and expensive lights. On which the life story of the great personalities of Chhattisgarh was shown. The purpose of the establishment of these TVs and lights was to inspire the people of the city, especially the youth and underline the historical significance of the Chowk. The complaint states that these LED TVs and lights of Chowk have been stolen by some unknown persons. This is not only an insult to the martyrs. Rather, there is also an act of hurting the sentiments of ordinary citizens, officials and public representatives passing through the Chowk. The complainant has demanded that legal action should be taken against the culprits by recovering the stolen material soon and the dignity of Jai Pillar Chowk should be restored.
