In Palghar district of Maharashtra, a 70 -year -old couple were beaten up by their two sons and expelled from the house. Even before this, the accused sons used to misbehave with their old parents. Now the police has taken action in this case. This information was given by the police on Monday.
A Palghar police official said that Section 115 (2) (voluntarily hurt), 351 (2) (criminal intimidation) and 352 (criminal intimidation) and 352 of the Indian Justice Code (BNS) have registered a case against both sons and their wives.
The police officer told PTI that on June 16, the 70-year-old victims were attacked by the accused repeatedly in Patil Ali area of Vasai and beat him out of the house.
The police officer said that there was no place to go to the couple and they have been given temporary shelter by a local NGO volunteer. However, no arrest has been made in this case so far. But the matter is being investigated.
