Raipur/Nawapara: In Chipridih village of Nawapara in Raipur district, Prema Sahu committed suicide by getting fed up with the in -laws’ dowry harassment. After investigation, the police arrested 5 accused, including mother -in -law, father -in -law, husband, brother -in -law and Deorani, and sent them to jail.
According to the information received, 1 month ago, Prema Sahu, a woman of village Chipridih, had committed suicide by being fed up with the in -laws’ harassment. The in -laws used to torture the deceased on the matter of bringing less dowry. At the same time, he used to beat the deceased by asking the maiden to bring more money. Due to which the woman used to get upset. Finally fed up with torture, the woman gave her life a month ago. The police have arrested the deceased’s mother -in -law, father -in -law, husband, brother -in -law and Deorani and sent them to jail on charges of abetment and dowry harassment for suicide.
