The torrential rains in Behat tehsil of Saharanpur district have now become a problem for the people. The water level in the rainy rivers flowing from the hills of Shivalik is increasing rapidly, due to which life has been completely affected.

The flow of water in the Sansra River coming out of Shivalik became so fast that a tractor got stuck in it. Three people on the tractor were crossing the river, but due to the strong current, the tractor stopped in the middle. All three people were stranded between the river for hours. Local villagers, showing courage, took out everyone safely. It is a matter of relief that no one died.

Meanwhile, the culvert connecting the village of Behat Power House to Abdullapur village was swept away. Due to this, the main connectivity route of the village has been cut. The villagers are now having a lot of trouble in movement, especially sick people and the laborers who earn daily.
