The Ghazipur police has achieved great success on Thursday morning. The Kotwali police have arrested three inter -state vehicle thieves near Bilachia Mor Tirahe. The arrested accused include Bittu Kumar (Mau), Nafees Ansari (Ghazipur) and Ravi Kumar Bind (Suhawal, Ghazipur). 11 stolen bikes, 2 country pistols and 2 live cartridges have been recovered from them.
During the interrogation of the police, the accused said that they had stolen bikes from areas of Ghazipur, Varanasi, Ballia, Jaunpur, Azamgarh and Bihar. They used to erase the engine and chassis number of the bike and put fake number plates and fulfill their hobbies by selling them.
