Sarpanch’s Husband Committed Suicide at a Tea Stall in Front of Sp Office, Body Found Hanging from a Noose in the Shop, Police Engaged in Investigation
Jagdalpur: On Sunday morning, a young man committed suicide by hanging himself in a tea gumti in front of the SP office located at the old bus stand of Jagdalpur. On receiving the information of the incident, the Kotwali police reached the spot and started investigation and sent the body for postmortem. The case is of Kotwali police station area.
According to the information received, the passers -by saw the sarpanch husband of the deceased village panchayat Kawal, Kaval’s sarpanch Baghel, hanging from the gumti in the morning. After which the news was given to the police immediately.
The deceased was being treated at Dimrarapal Hospital and he left from there at around 5:30 am today.
In the case, the body will be sent to the Maharani Hospital for post -mortem. No suicide note has been recovered from the spot. At present, the police is investigating the reason for suicide. Information is also being collected about the family and mental condition of the deceased. The police is taking further action by collecting evidence from the spot.
