The study conducted by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and AIIMS has shown that the sudden deaths of adults after Kovid-19 have no link to the corona vaccine.
The Union Health Ministry has also clarified that there is no link between the heart attack and the corona vaccine. The ministry says that no link has been detected between Corona vaccine and heart attack in the studies conducted by ICMR.
The study was done between May to August 2023 in 19 states of the country and 47 hospitals in union territories. This study was done on people who were completely healthy but they died suddenly between October 2021 to March 2023. Study showed that the risk of heart attack has not increased due to the corona vaccine. There is no connection with the sudden deaths of youth.
This study has come up at a time when cases of heart attacks have increased among youth across the country. ICMR and National Center for Disease Control are working towards understanding the cause behind these deaths. In this study, lifestyle and previous conditions are considered to be the main cause of sudden deaths.
