The morale of criminals in Bihar has increased so much that now they are not afraid to enter the police station and attack the police. The latest case is of Mufassil police station in Munger, where on Monday, two youths beat up the policemen inside the police station after the challan was cut.
The police was patrolling the area about Muharram. Meanwhile, when the police car was entering the police station, two youths riding on a bike came out from the wrong direction. They were stopped and brought to the police station and a challan of ₹ 1000 was deducted without being helmet.
Attack on police by entering police station
As soon as the challan was cut, accused Mohit Kumar and Rohit Kumar, who are residents of Rahimpur Pachrukhi village in Khagaria district, came down on abuses and clashed with the police in the police station itself. During this time, ASI Bhola Singh broke his hand in the shock, while Police Station Vipin Kumar Singh, SI Chandeshwar Singh Azad, constable Anand Raj and Chowkidar Raghunath Singh also suffered injuries.
Police registered a case and started investigation
The policemen immediately controlled the two brothers and locked them in Hajat. The injured policemen were sent to Sadar Hospital for treatment. An FIR has been registered on the statement of Police Station Vipin Kumar Singh. Munger SP Syed Imran Masood has confirmed the incident and said that the process of sending the accused to jail is going on.
