A shocking case has come to light from the city of Silchar in Assam where a doctor of a private hospital has been accused of serious negligence. A patient named Atikur Rahman, who hails from Jiribam district of Manipur, has alleged that during treatment at RE Hospital in Silchar, the doctor cut off his private part without permission.
Atikur Rahman had a complaint of infection in the genitals and was admitted to the RE Hospital in Silchar for treatment. During the treatment, Dr. Eden Sinha advised the biopsy and the patient was taken to the operation theater.
Private part cut without telling the patient
According to the patient, he was not given complete information about the operation. In the name of biopsy test, the doctor completely cut off his genitals. At first, Atikur did not understand anything but after opening the dressing, he came to know the reality.
Police registered a case and started investigation
When he wanted to talk to the doctor, the hospital administration did not allow the doctor to meet. Helpless, the victim has lodged a complaint against Dr. Eden Sinha at Gungur police station of Silchar. Police has started the investigation of the matter. At present, no statement has been revealed from the doctor and the hospital administration.
