There has been a stir once again in the politics of Bihar. Asaduddin Owaisi’s party AIMIM has expressed his desire to join the grand alliance for the upcoming assembly elections. For this, the party’s Bihar state president and MLA Akhtarul Iman has written a letter to RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav.
In the letter, AIMIM has clearly stated that if the scattering of secular votes is to be stopped, then it is necessary to include the party in the grand alliance. Akhtarul Iman wrote that the direct benefit of this scatter is to the communal forces, which is necessary to stop in the 2025 election.
AIMIM shows the desire to join the Grand Alliance
He also informed that AIMIM had tried to be a part of the grand alliance in the 2020 assembly elections and 2024 Lok Sabha elections, but no concrete results came out. Now again the party has expressed his intention to contest elections by joining the alliance. Many AIMIM leaders have been making statements continuously for the last few days on this issue.
No formal response came from RJD
There is no formal response from Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav so far. However, if sources are to be believed, Tejashwi had said that he did not get any direct proposal from AIMIM. Now it will be seen whether Lalu Yadav reacts to this letter or not.
