In Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh, a woman and her 19 -year -old daughter died of poisoning. At the same time, the condition of her husband and young daughter remains critical. The police has given this information on Thursday. He said that due to increasing debt on the family, the whole family had allegedly consumed poison together.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Abhishek said that 46 -year -old Pukhraj, resident of Kandera village under Nurpur police station, his 41 -year -old wife Rameshia, his 19 -year -old daughter Anita and 17 Sal’s younger daughter Sunita ate poison on Wednesday night.
The official said that Rameshia and Anita died, while Pukhraj and Sunita have been referred to Meerut for treatment. According to the police, the topaz had a loan of Rs 6 lakh and the family was under pressure from the creditors. The SP said that the bodies have been sent for post -mortem and the matter is being investigated.
Many cases of collective suicides of the family have been coming before due to debt. Last month, seven people of the same family committed mass suicide by consuming poison inside the car in Panchkula, Haryana. The huge debt was described as the reason in the case. The dead included businessman Praveen Mittal, his wife, parents, two daughters and a son.
