Emergency landing of Indigo flight coming from Patna in Bihar to Delhi has been made. Due to the collision of the bird, the emergency landing of the flight had to be done. There were 169 passengers in this aircraft.
The aircraft was rescued at Jayaprakash Narayan International Airport in Patna. IndiGo flight number 6E5009 was coming from Patna to Delhi. At present, efforts are being made to fix the aircraft.
Director of Patna Airport says that all passengers are safe. It was safely landed soon after taking off the aircraft. Alternative arrangements will be made for passengers.
A statement issued by Patna Airport said that the IG05009 flight coming from Patna to Delhi took off at 8.42 am local time but soon after the takeoff, a bird collided with the aircraft. During the investigation, the remains of the dead bird were found from the runway. The aircraft was asked to return to Patna due to vibration in an engine of the aircraft. The aircraft was launched on a safe runway. All passengers are safe.
