A case of rape of a foreign woman tourist has come to light in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The victim is a citizen of France and came to Udaipur from Delhi on 22 June. The woman was staying in a hotel in Ambamata police station area.
He met the accused youth during a party in ‘The Greek Form Cafe and Restro’ located in Tiger Hill late Monday evening. According to the police, the accused in the party talked to the woman and took her with him on the pretext of smoking and showing the views of the city.
Rape with a French girl
The accused youth took the woman to her rented house in Sukher area. The woman said that on the way she asked to return to the hotel several times, but the accused refused. Her mobile was also discharged, due to which she could not contact anyone.
On reaching home, the young man asked him to hug him. On refusing, he forcibly made physical relations. The victim said that her health deteriorated after the incident. She somehow reached a private hospital and was admitted there.
Police engaged in search of the accused’s youth
The hospital administration informed the police. The police have registered a case with the victim’s statement. At present, the accused youth is absconding. According to the police officer Puran Singh Rajpurohit of Badgaon police station, the youth is being searched and arrest will be made soon.
