The NISAR Mission is NAS- ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar mission which is an initiative of the Indian Space Research Organisation and NASA. It plans to send one of the largest Earth-watching satellites into orbit sometime in 2024. It will be incorporated with modern radar imaging to observe a range of geophysical events on the Earth. NISAR Mission : What is the NISAR Mission?

NISAR is designed to be a dual-frequency synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite, which will operate at two frequencies: L band which has a little longer frequency and the S band, which has the little shorter frequency.
