Police arrested 27 -year -old Manoj Yadav in Ballia on Monday. He is accused of raping a 26 -year -old woman for about two years. The woman says that Manoj exploited her physically by pretending to make her job progress. The two worked together in a marketing and networking company.
According to the police, the victim is a resident of Bansdih police station area of Ballia district. He told that Manoj Yadav is a resident of Reghou village, he promised to give him a better position in the company. On this excuse, he exploited him for two years. Based on the written complaint of the victim, a case was registered against Manoj under Section 69, 352 and 351 (3) of the Indian Justice Code (BNS) at Bansdih police station on Sunday.
Police in -charge (SHO) Sanjay Singh said that immediate action was initiated after receiving the complaint. Police arrested Manoj Yadav from Bansdih crossing. Superintendent of Police (SP) Omvir Singh said, “The accused has been arrested and after completing the legal process, he was sent to jail.” The police is conducting a thorough investigation into the case so that the victim can get justice.
