The video of a hotel located in Kawad Marg in Muzaffarnagar district has gone viral on social media. In the video, a hotel worker is seen spitting on the bread and is seen in the oven. After this video surfaced, the police immediately came into action and the accused was arrested and sent to jail.
The incident is of a hotel named Lajiz in Nagar Kotwali area which is located near Novalati Chowk. In the viral video, a hotel worker named Shahnawaz is seen by spit on the bread and is seen in the oven. This video is said to be two days old.

Taking cognizance of the case, the police arrested Shahnawaz son Abdul Aziz, resident of Dakshin Krishnapuri, Thana Khalapar and filed a case against him under sections 117, 126 and 35 of BNS.
CO City Raju Kumar Saw said that the police and administration are fully cautious about the Kavad Yatra before the start of Sawan month. Necessary guidelines are being given by meeting with all the dhaba and hotel operators.
