There was no monsoon rains in Delhi right now and the water level of Yamuna reached close to the danger mark and this water level is rising rapidly. Today Yamuna has reached 203.2 meters, while the danger mark is at 205.33 meters i.e. Yamuna water has reached very close to the danger mark.
The current water level of Yamuna in Delhi was measured at 203.2 meters at 1 pm. While the warning level is 204.5 meters and the danger mark is at 205.33 meters. Currently, the water level of Yamuna is 1.3 meters below the warning level and more than 2 meters below the risk level.
Let us know that due to heavy rains in Himachal Pradesh, the water level in Yamuna has increased. At the same time, 20,000 cusecs of water is being released every hour from Hathini Kund Barrage in Haryana, due to which the danger of floods in the low -lying areas of Delhi has started increasing.
It is a matter of concern that good monsoon rains are yet to begin in Delhi and when good rains start, the situation is expected to be worse. At the same time, the process of rain on the mountains is going to continue. Which can make the situation worse.
